History of Toshin Chemical Industry

Aiming to be a 100-year-old company,It grew into Toshin Chemical Industry.

Our company was founded in 1940 (Showa 15) by Kazuyoshi Hino.
Since we began manufacturing zinc chloride, we have continued to produce mainly industrial chemicals.

We will introduce the history of Toshin Chemical Industry.

1940 (Showa 15)

Founder Ichiro Hino established Toshin Chemical Laboratory as a privately owned business in Kawaguchi, Saitama Prefecture.

1947 (Showa 22)

Founded as Toshin Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., and began manufacturing zinc chloride in the same year.

1950 (Showa 25)

Opened a sales office in Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo

1954 (Showa 29)

Increased capital to 10 million yen

1955 (Showa 30)

Started manufacturing ammonium chloride for industrial use

1957 (Showa 32)

Increased capital to 15 million yen

The head office in Kawaguchi, Saitama Prefecture becomes the Kawaguchi Factory, and the head office is moved to 4-4 Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
